Samara Weaving is teaming up once again with Radio Silence to revisit her role as the badass bride who took down a cursed family in the course of an evening in Ready or Not.

Deadline reports that the collective filmmaking team, Radio Silence, is making a sequel. They announced the news at a screening of the 2019 original over the weekend. However, nothing was said about when production will start or a release date.

“I’m all in,” said Weaving in an interview with ComicBook.com, “I think we’re all in, I don’t know. I think we’re all in…I don’t know if we’ve had our blood handshake, but pretty much. We’ve done the spit handshake, but we haven’t cut each other’s hands and rubbed our blood together.”

The filmmaking duo  Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are the duo behind Radio Silence. Their movie Abigail which came out earlier this year was a box office hit and followed some of the same beats as Ready or Not.

They also rebooted the Scream franchise in 2022 and a sequel, Scream VI, in 2023. They will step away from the director’s chair for Scream VII, taking a producing credit instead.
