George P. Wilbur Who Played Michael Myers in ‘Halloween 4’ and ‘6’ Has Died at age 81

George P. Wilbur was a successful stuntman and completely legendary who was able to play Michael Myers in two separate films. Wilbur played Myers in both Halloween 4 and Halloween 6. Wilbur’s death was announced via social networks thanks to Chris Durand (star of Halloween H2O) who wrote, “George P. Wilbur passed away last night. George, you were a class act and well-loved. You will be missed. May you Rest in Peace.”

Wilbur had an extensive stunt role career in the horror genre. However, to go all the way back you would have to look at the amazing time that Wilbur stood in for John Wayne in his early career.

A few of Wilbur’s more recent incredibly memorable stunt roles came about with Ghostbusters, Re-Animator, Fletch, The Monster Squad, Dead Heat, Die Hard, The ‘Burbs, Ghostbusters II, A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, Total Recall, The Exorcist III, The Silence of the Lambs, Cast a Deadly Spell and Dr. Giggles to name just a few.

Our thoughts are with Wilbur’s surviving daughter. Now it is time to go back and watch Wilbur’s performance as Micheal Myers in both Halloween 4 and Halloween 6.
