The Savagely Gory ‘Razorback’ Brings the True Life Australian Tale to 4K UHD

Razorback is always a standout on shelves at video stores. It was a jawdropper on the giant cover alone. That VHS case was large and had that clamshell design. Best, of all the art, was amazing the backside had that vicious killer pig overlooking Australia’s outback. It also helped that the beginning of the film is memorable as hell all in itself.

Razoback begins with a baby crying loudly in a trailer home. Moments later a giant killer boar plows inside the home taking the rickety structure away along with the baby. It is a vicious start. The best part is that this film keeps its foot on the gas pedal all the way through and doesn’t disappoint. There have been a lot of killer pig films over the years but this one still impresses all these years later.
