Jim Henson’s landmark fantasy film Labyrinth will return to theaters this fall in celebration of its 35th anniversary thanks to Fathom Events.
Starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie, the film tells the story of a headstrong teenage girl named Sarah who accidentally wishes her baby brother into the arms of Jareth, the Goblin King whose castle lies at the heart of a twisting, turning labyrinth. As she sets out to rescue the child, she learns lessons about friendship, trust, and her own personal power and strengths along the way.
The dark fairy tale is easily one of the most visually stunning films of its kind from the 1980s, perhaps only rivaled by Henson’s The Dark Crystal.

Labyrinth was directed by Jim Henson with a script by Terry Jones of Monty Python fame. Brian Froud served as the conceptual designer on the project with George Lucas as executive producer. Trevor Jones composed the score and Bowie provided songs the film including the oft-quoted “Magic Dance.”
Tickets for Labyrinth will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, August 6, 2021, on the official Fathom Events website. The film will screen on September 12, 13, and 15, 2021.
