If I asked you what the top 10 best online, co-op shooters were, 9 out of 10 of you would include Left 4 Dead 2. It’s an all-timer and if you grew up with it and were able to experience it with friends, than you know the spell it cast. It was the same big-even, multiplayer gaming that Golden Eye was. In other words, it was tremendous. Now, Coach, Ellis, Nick and Rochelle are back to stab a zombie in the eye or dislodge a brain or two with a baseball bat. This time, the quadruplet is keen on killin’ zombies in the world of Zombie Army 4.

While we wait for the spiritual sequel to Left 4 Dead 2, Back 4 Blood, this will whet our appetites for the insatiable thirst for more zombie slaying.

Rebellion’s Zombie Army 4: Dead War is in the midst of its season three. As the third season winds down, players can take part in Return to Hell. In the finale your group must head to the underworld, to battle a haunted manifestation of Schweiger’s mind. If you can defeat him you free him from the clutches of Baron Umbra.

If you already have the season 3 pass, than you already have Horror Headgear Pack, Flare Gun Weapon Bundle, Van Helsing Weapon Skins, Horror Charm Pack 2 and of course the lads and lady from Left 4 Dead 2. In addition, if you just want the Left 4 Dead 2 characters, you can download that DLC pack for free.

Zombie Army: Dead War has been a seriously great game, all its own. We reviewed it when it launched and it got a 4 out of 5. It’s a solid game and a great one to experience with chums. Now, with the added Left 4 Dead 2 character skins, its a nostalgic blast.
