Elijah Wood Plays the FBI agent Who Interviewed Ted Bundy in ‘No Man of God’

RLJE Films has acquired No Man of God before world premiere at Tribeca. The film which sees Elijah Wood as FBI agent Bill Hagmaier and Luke Kirby as Ted Bundy looks to be one we are going to hear a lot about this year. The film is based on the transcripts that transpired between the two men during interviews.

The synopsis for No Man of God goes like this:

In 1980, Ted Bundy was sentenced to death by electrocution. In the years that followed, he agreed to disclose the details of his crimes, but only to one man.  NO MAN OF GOD is based on the true story of the strange and complicated relationship that developed between FBI agent Bill Hagmaier (Wood) and an incarcerated Ted Bundy (Kirby) in the years leading to Bundy’s execution.

Elijah Wood is nearly unrecognizable in the role as Hagmaier. It will be interesting to see how these two play on the conversation and the ego that went into this interview from both sides. The interview is a bit of a revealing and historic one in the history of serial killers, one in which Bundy became very candid about his murders.

No Man of God is planned for an August release date later this year.
