It’s Chris Pratt Versus Aliens in First ‘The Tomorrow War’ Look

Chris Pratt has temporarily put down his raptor taming gear in place of alien blasting weaponry, in the latest look at what is now titled The ‘Tomorrow War.

Pratt took to his socials today to give us a peek at a row of soldiers all ready to do battle, and an quick and hilarious explanation as to how he landed on the title The Tomorrow War. Which was apparently at one time titled “Ghostdraft” not to be confused with Ghost Dad.

I’ve always liked this Pratt guy. He is funny and so is this list of possible titles that he dug through prior to selecting The Tomorrow War.

This synopsis for the film breaks down like this:

A man is drafted to fight in a future war where the fate of humanity relies on his ability to confront his past.

I can already hear and see the trailer for this one. If it doesn’t begin off with “in a world…” and somewhere work in, “only this group of rag-tag soldiers can save the world,” I’m not going to know what to do with myself.

The film stars Chris Pratt (who also executive produces) Yvonne Strahovski, J. K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, and Sam Richardson.

The Tomorrow War is headed to theaters in 2020.
