‘Ghostbusters 2020’ Wraps And Posts Photos

Who ya gonna call? Well, in this case you really wanna call Jason Reitman. Especially when it comes to directing the all new Ghostbusters film.

In the latest bit of news out of the Ghostbusters camp, we see the very exciting news that ‘Ghostbusters 2020’ has wrapped principal photography, putting us that much closer to this class-5 entity of a film hitting theaters.

The awesome news comes to us in the form of an Instagram post from Jason Reitman himself. In the photo we see a happy bunch that includes Reitman, Finn Wolfhard and co. announcing the wrap of Ghostbusters.

Nobody better suited to take the reigns in the Ghostbusterverse than son of Ivan Reitman in my opinion. With a cast that has most of the original cast returning to reprise their roles, this is high on the anticipation scale.

The new film will bring back Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts in their respective roles. In addition the new kids on the spooky block come by way of Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Bokeem Woodbine and more.

The working title that the film was flying under radar with was ‘Rust City.’ If you look closely behind the ‘Rust City’ font on the clapboard you can see our favorite ghost peekin.

Ghostbusters is now headed into post production and given the whole ‘2020’ thing, we can expect to see it in theaters next year if we are lucky. As of right now no official plot points have been announced.

What do you guys think? Excited about the return of the original Ghostbusters?
